It's been forever and a half since I've posted in this. Probably for a good reason. I am a horrible writer and my life is pretty bland at its best. But I'm watching a football game I don't care about much right now and I'm on a sugar high (yay poptarts!) so bear with me.
I am going for round two of pharmacy applications. I am being humbled by business school. I now know how fucking smart I felt before. Because really, if i tried, i could have done amazingly well in undergrad. And now, I now that my best in business school is still mediocre. sigh

You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. I have an interview with Mercer's SOuthern School of Pharmacy on my birthday at 1pm. I'm going even though the timing sucks and I'm prob just gonna do the MSM thing at UF anyways. But I could use the interview experience, and my mom thinks i need to go so i can realize that i am a qualified candidate. whatever.

So tomorrow, I am supposed to go to dinner with my dad and then to his apartment to celebrate christmas with him...and I don't even want to do that. I just started talking to him again over thanksgiving for three reasons. One, I was too lazy to leave the house. Two, My mom told me I had to start talking to him. and Finally, it was becoming too easy to not talk to him. It had become the norm. So I bit the bullet and started talking to him, holding my tongue so liz could be happy that I wasn't "mad" at him...which, of course, I still am. Hopefully, i can be nice and civil at least through tomorrow...
Other than that, I've spent the last week babysitting my sister and wrapping all of th echristmas presents while my mom worked. SHe tried to get my to wrap my own, but I threatened to tell Liz there was no Santa, and she stopped. I went to visit Haley and Mike on Tuesday, which is always fun...it's a day of teasing and sarcasm. And mike made us dinner as we watched episodes of the daily show and colbert report that they have tivo-ed. We also saw the Family Stone...a typical chick flick that I felt that anyone could somewhat relate to...if only the part with Luke Wilson was the familiar part...
But now I'm off to some sibling quality time with Tim...he's taking me to see Narnia...

YOU ARE RULE 8(a)!
You are Rule 8, the most laid back of all the
Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. While your
forefather in the Federal Rules may have been a
stickler for details and particularity, you
have clearly rebelled by being pleasant and
easy-going. Rule 8 only requires that a
plaintiff provide a short and plain statement
of a claim on which a court can grant relief.
While there is much to be lauded in your
approach, your good nature sometimes gets you
in trouble, and you often have to rely on your
good friend, Rule 56, to bail you out.

Dirty Dancing Havana Nights is quite possibly the worst movie I've seen in a long time. It's so bad I enjoy watching it. I find the lack of plot, bad acting, and and the not quite hot actors really amusing.

| Random Brutal Love Dreamer (RBLDf) Prone to bouts of cynicism, sarcasm, and thorns, you excite a certain kind of man. Hoping to gather you up, he flirts and winks and asks you out, ultimately professing his love. Then you make him bleed. Why? Because you're the rare, independent, self-sufficient kind of woman who does want love, but not from a weakling. You don't seem to take yourself too seriously, and that's refreshing. You aren't uptight; you don't over-plan. Romance-wise, sex isn't a top priority--a true relationship would be preferable. For your age, you haven't had a lot of bonafide love experience, though, and this kind of gets to core of the issue. You're very selective.

So my sister is visiting me for the weekend. It's been fun. Not the complete bore i was afraid it would be. we went to maudes and played connect four and sorry! and we watched degrassi. and played ps2 games. and went to MOST of the game yesterday. we left with about 8 minutes left in the 4th. it was just as well. There's no way she would have made it through the two overtimes.
today we went to the cereal joint. which is really cute. it's a simple concept. theres a variety of cereal that you can mix and bagels and croissant sandwiches, etc. and its pretty cheap. too bad it won't last. it would make a good study place. but it won't last. it's too out of the way. now if it were where java lounge used to be...

You fit in with: Humanism Your ideals mostly resemble that of a Humanist. Although you do not have a lot of faith, you are devoted to making this world better, in the short time that you have to live. Humanists do not generally believe in an afterlife, and therefore, are committed to making the world a better place for themselves and future generations. 0% scientific. 40% reason-oriented. |

It's that time of year again. Where the stadium becomes my home away from home. Actually, it won't be as bad this year. I'm working sesame street live more than gator growl stuff on tues and wed. and i'm only working til 8 on tuesday bc of lin's bday. oh, btw, if you haven't read her journal, we're going to stubbies. if time permits, farrah's might happen, but that won't be for sure bc she has lab and i work til 8.
anyways, when you go to gator growl on friday, if you go, look for me bc i will most likely be entertaining because of the lack of sleep. and yeah, those cables powering the lights? you wee how theyre laid out, uncoiled and straight? Yeah, I probably did that ;-)
